It's officially November guys, the festive season is upon us and this is my very first Christmas blog post! How exciting!

I thought I would start off with a traditional gift guide, as I know I find them very useful this time of year for those extra difficult family members (mainly men!). It can be hard to stick to a budget when buying gifts so I have put together 5 great items that are all £50 and under, £50 doesn't sound a lot these days but I found that there are some lovely items online perfect for a budget that can also look like they cost you a lot more. Here are some of what I found...

Bomber Jacket - £48 River Island
Completely on trend this year are Bomber Jackets that will be a key item in his wardrobe this season. I think this from River Island is a great price and I love them in the Khaki and Oxblood shades - both very on trend colours this winter.

Xbox Wireless Controller in Blue - £49.99 Game
For the gaming man in your life, a fancy controller in a nice colour or a funky print can make a fantastic gift that they are sure to use and enjoy.

Ted Baker Wallet & Vivienne Westwood Card Holder - £50 each Selfridges
A designer wallet is a classic gift that you cannot go wrong with. Its something that lasts years and gets used every day, making it a practical yet perfect gift!

Kiehls Facial Fuel Moisturiser - £29 Selfridges
Uppercut Deluxe Mens Kit - £35 Asos
If you know a man that likes to take care of himself then some posh skincare from Kiehls like this Facial Fuel Moisturiser will be hugely appreciated. & if your guy is obsessed with his 'do', Uppercut do great gift sets for hair at very reasonable prices.

One Million Prive Paco Rabanne 50ml - £45 Boots
Bad by Diesel 35ml - £37 Boots
Aftershave is something that simply cannot be missed out of a gift guide. It may be the obvious choice but If you need help choosing then I can recommend these two brand new scents from Diesel and Paco Rabanne.

Kat Von D Beauty - Lips

On my last few trips to Sephora there was only one place I was heading to first - the Kat Von D stand. That brand is quickly making its way to be my favourite beauty line ever, in fact the only thing I dislike about it is how near enough impossible it is to get in the UK! (though I do hear its coming to Debenhams - YAY). What I love the most about this brand is the lip products, they own the best liquid lipsticks & their studded kiss lipsticks are pretty damn good too! Kat Von D is exclusive to Sephora, so for us brits its an ordering online jobby & having to 'suck it up' when paying the extortionate shipping fees, but if you love long lasting, high quality products, you wont regret a thing.

Here is my small (but growing) collection so far...

Lolita - Chestnut Rose

Lovesick - Mauve Nude

Bow N Arrow - Fawn Nude

Backstage Bambi - Hot Pink

Bauhau5 - Deep Plum/Raspberry

Available online from Sephora.com for $20 (liquid lipstick) $21 (studded lipstick)

Review: SkinnyMint 28 Day Teatox

Teatoxes have been all the craze the last 18 months or so. Just look on any celebrities instagram and you are bound to see a sponsored post telling us that a Teatox is the reason why they look so great. But, if you've never tried one before then how are we meant to believe that they really work? & with the many Teatoxes on offer, how do we know which one to try out?

To hopefully help you make up your mind, this is my tried & tested, honest review on the *SkinnyMint 28 day teatox. I have previously done reviews on the 14 day teatox and have also done a comparison post SkinnyMint VS Bootea so feel free to check them out too!

What Is SkinnyMint?

SkinnyMint is a teatox program that uses all natural ingredients to help cleanse your body, increase energy and remove all toxins. It is a 2 step program consisting of a morning tea and a night time tea.

How Do I Do It?

The 28 day teatox includes 28 morning tea bags and 14 night time tea bags. You have 1 cup of morning tea every morning and 1 cup of night time tea every other night before you go to bed. Make the tea by putting it in a mug and fill with boiling water, I then leave it in for around 2 minutes but you can leave it in for longer depending on how strong you like it.

Why SkinnyMint?

Teatoxes are great for those that need a quick feel-good boost after over indulging or an alcohol heavy weekend. It uses all natural ingredients such as Lemon grass and Ginger root which are good for you and your skin. It means no dieting, which can be a lifelong struggle for a lot of people, and claiming results in as little as 14 days, it is ideal just before that last minute holiday. Most importantly.. It's so easy!

Ingredients

Morning Tea - Green Tea Leaf, Mate Leaf, Nettle Leaf, Dandelion Leaf, Guarana Seed.

Night Tea - Senna Leaf, Ginger Root, Orange Leaf, Lemon grass, Peppermint Leaf, Liquorice Root, Hawthorn Berry, Psyllium Seed.

Where Do I Buy It?

The 28 day teatox is available online for £32.90 from the Skinnymint website with FREE worldwide shipping or you can buy the 14 day teatox for £17.90.

MY RESULTS

I tried out the 28 day teatox alongside going to the gym 3 times a week which Is what I usually do. I didn't try the tea to lose weight, as I naturally have quite a small frame, but I did want to see if it helped me with definition and the awful bloating I tend to get in the evenings.

Did I See Any Differences?

First of all, I can say that I did see a difference in my bloating and I noticed this before when I tried the 14 day program. My stomach was considerably less bloated while drinking this tea which is probably down to the Senna and Peppermint leaf in the night cleanse that is renowned for its ability to reduce bloating.

Secondly, I saw a slight difference in my stomachs definition, which you can kind of see in my before and after photos below. (I'm not usually one for taking photos of my body but I wanted this review to be as accurate and detailed as possible!)

Lastly, alertness. I found the morning tea made me feel a bit more awake through out the day and gave me somewhat more energy.

BEFORE

AFTER

NEGATIVES

Side Effects
After a few weeks I did have a few days where I felt a little light headed and dizzy shortly after taking the morning tea. I cannot 100% blame this on the teatox but I have heard of this side effect before. I stopped taking the tea for a couple of days afterwards and then continued.

Price
The 28 day Teatox is sold at a steep £32.90 which could be a big negative for some people. The 14 day teatox is more affordable at £17.90 though it does work out cheaper to buy the 28 day one.

Did I Lose Weight?
No. I did not lose weight but a teatox can effect people in many different ways so that doesn't mean that other people won't do.

Night Cleanse Taste
The taste of the Night Tea wasnt very nice in my opinion. It was like hot, ginger water and I really had to force it down my throat. Other people might disagree but it was a bit too gingery for me!

I hope this has been helpful to any of you thinking about whether to try a Teatox or not. Please remember that it can effect us all in different ways, so what hasn't worked for me, may work for you!

Shopping Wishlist - My Disney World Planning

Something I love to do when I'm in Orlando is to shop. Orlando is like shopping heaven with its amazing malls & outlets and along with all the Disney merchandise in the parks, we end up bringing a fair amount of stuff back!

As a beauty blogger, of course I have some makeup items in my wishlist, two of which are eye shadow palettes. The Kat Von D Shade & Light palette is something I have wanted to get my hands on for a while now, but Kat Von D products aren't available in the UK and cost a fortune to get shipped over. I'm pretty sure this wont be only product I'll pick up from her range, but this is a definite must. The second palette is new from Too Faced called Sweet Peach. I love Too Faced products and when I first saw the amazing colours in this palette along with the pretty packaging I was sold (not that it takes much!). Lastly in the form of makeup, the liquid lipsticks from Anastasia Beverly Hills will be finding their way into my shopping bag. These again are quite hard to get hold of in the UK but have rave reviews so I'm definitely looking to pick up a few shades.

There are a few things from the parks that I am hoping to get my hands on, because what is a Disney trip without some Disney merch?! I really want to find a nice photo frame & album to store my 'Memory Maker' photos that the professionals take. I'm also wanting to purchase the set of 'You are here' Starbucks mugs that can be found in each park, I love the designs on these and think they make such nice souvenirs.

Lastly, a few random things I'm hoping to buy while I'm on my trip. The classic pink striped Victoria Secret pyjamas. I have wanted these for ages but cant bring myself to pay the silly prices here in the UK. Victoria Secret is quite a lot cheaper in the US so I'm hoping I can get my hands on them.
I want to add another Kate Spade to my handbag collection, something you might not know about me is that I have an obsession with bags! I love Kate Spade & last year managed to get a purse from the outlets for a really good price so I am hoping I can grab another bargain.
The last thing on my list which I am hoping to find in Walmart is the Crest Whitening Strips. These get really good reviews and the results I have seen are amazing. Again, they are hard to get in the UK so I am looking to pick up a few packets and hopefully I will soon have a pearly white smile!

More updates on My Disney World Planning coming soon!

Beyond The Parks - My Disney World Planning

Welcome to the third part in my Florida trip planning, this time I include all the great things to do in Florida that are non park related. If you are new to this part of my blog then click the links below to get caught up!

When people think about Florida, the first thing they relate it to is Disney World. Yes, it may be one of the worlds top tourist destinations, but I do think its sad that the rest of the state can be easily forgotten about. Bearing in mind that Florida is nearly 1 and a half times the size of England, it really does have so much more to offer than just Disney (believe it or not!). Here are some ideas of what you can do on your Orlando trip that doesn't include the parks...

Beaches

In all my trips to Florida, I have always had at least two days in my itinery that are strictly 'Beach days'. Florida beaches really are stunning, think white sand and crystal clear waters. My absolute favourite beach in the world happens to be Clearwater, 1.5 hours away from Orlando near Tampa. It is a gorgeous beach and very much worth the travelling in my opinion. I couldn't think of a trip to Florida without visiting here!
Another favourite is one of the worlds most famous beaches, Daytona. This is on the east coast of Florida just under an hour away. This is where you can drive along the beach and park up on the sand, I see it as a 'must do' if you are planning a trip to Florida.
Other great nearby beaches are Cocoa beach, an hours drive east of Orlando, and the city of Sarasota which is home to some of the best beaches in America.

 Sports Matches

On our last visit we purchased tickets for an Orlando City soccer match. We are both into our football but I would recommend this to anyone regardless of whether they were a football fan or not. The atmosphere was incredible, nothing like an English football match. We loved the experience so much that we have purchased tickets for this year too but this time from Ticketmaster. We found that buying them in advance was a lot cheaper than buying them while you are out there, last year we purchased them from a ticket office on International drive for around $120, but this time we are only paying $70. I have seen games for other sports such as Basketball or Baseball recommended for the experience too but I think we are just sticking with Soccer again. Something I would love to see though is Ice Hockey! (although I know nothing about it!).

Malls & Outlets

Orlando is the number 1 destination for shopping, It really is a shopaholics heaven. We very much have a 'go hard or go home' approach when it comes to shopping over there and we really see it as part of the holiday. Things are generally cheaper in America, especially if you are buying their own brands such as Abercrombie or Ralph Lauren. There are also some Outlets where you can grab some great bargains so if you didn't want to go crazy with the shopping I would recommend going to one of them rather than going to a Mall. Many hotels along International drive provide shuttle buses to the shops and a Taxi from Disney would cost about $20 each way. We will be visiting the same places this year as we did last time which were - Mall at Millennia, Florida Mall, Vineland Outlets and the International Drive Outlets. I will soon be writing a post that goes more into detail about shopping in Orlando, including my Shopping List for this years trip!

Other 'Beyond the Parks' Must do's -

- Anna Maria Island
- Nascar at Daytona
- A trip to Miami
- Kennedy Space Centre
- The Dali Museum
