Le Blush Creme De Chanel - Review

I recently had a bit of a splurge on this amazing blush from Chanel. I had heard so many good comments about it on other blogs & youtube I just had to see what all the fuss was about! First of all, I just loved the packaging. Classic Chanel with its classy monochrome, tucked into a velvet case with it's tiny logo printed on it, it looks and feels really special.

It is a cream blush which I don't usually use, I usually just stick to powders because I always thought they would be less hassle and easier to apply. Little did I know how simple cream blushers actually were! It blended so perfectly onto the balls of my cheeks and then I was good to go, no faffing about at all (which is a bonus if you are lazy like me!).

The shade I bought was number 63 Revelation, which is a gorgeous rosy pink colour which I think would suit pretty much all skin tones. You could use this every day as it is a lovely natural colour though I am using it sparingly at the moment and only when I go out for a nice meal or occasion as it just feels too nice to use on a day to day basis. I bought this product from a boots counter for a cool £28, pretty steep for a blush but you can't expect Chanel to come cheap (& it's soooo worth it!)

Have you tried Chanel's Creme Blush? I would love to know what you thought of it!

Top 10 MAC Lipsticks

If you have been reading blog for a while, then you will be fully aware how much I love MAC. It is my all time favourite cosmetic brand and I own far too many of their products! (luckily I have a pro card so I don't spend way too much). Although I love majority of their products, the lipsticks have to be my Number 1 favourite, you will never see me without a MAC lipstick on in public! So for any MAC newbies out there, I know just how daunting it can be to walk into a MAC shop or counter and see their display of hundreds of lipsticks staring at you. With numerous shades and finishes, picking one can seem impossible! Here is my carefully thought out Top 10 Mac lipsticks :)
all lipsticks can be bought online for £15.50 at www.maccosmetics.co.uk

A purple/plum shade in a satin finish that can be lightly applied to the lips for a dark pinky/purple shade or buildable to create a deep dark plum.

Light baby pink nude in a satin finish. Light enough for day to day and pink enough to make a statement. Amazing with a tan.

April Beauty Favourites

It's now May, summer is on its way and the weather is getting warmer (wahoo!). Okay, so I am a teeeeeeny bit late doing my April favourites as its now the 3rd....but better late than never :) these are my favourite beauty products I have been loving throughout April...

MAC velvet teddy lipstick
Ever since Kylie jenner announced that this was her go to lipstick, the world went crazy for Velvet Teddy and I can see why! It is a 90s brown nude with a matte finish and I find it so classy.

Label M sea salt spray
This has been my favourite hair product recently. Label M is the hairdressers "Toni & Guy" brand of hair products so you can only buy it in store or on the Label M website. I love this spray as it protects your hair from heat damage and gives texturised volume to wavy/curly styles.

Maybelline the falsies
This is my all time favourite mascara. I do enjoy trying others out every now and again but I seem to always go back to this one. It gives the perfect volume and would be ideal for anyone who likes big black lashes.

Barry M Gelly Hi shine in Blackberry
I wore this shade when I went to the races last month as it went perfectly with my dress. I love BarryM nail varnish as it has such a range of colours and the gelly hi shine is my favourite finish they do.
My 'day at the races' blog post can be seen here

MAC lip pencil in Whirl
This lip liner is the perfect partner to Velvet Teddy. I love wearing lip liners as they make my lipstick last so much longer, especially MAC ones. I have been wearing these two together every day for the last few weeks and always get compliments.

Rubis Tweezers Summer Edition
These are my all time favourite tweezers. They come at a price of £21.50 but in my opinion they are completely worth it as their slanted sharp end gives the perfect precision you need to tidy up stray hairs.

I would love to know what you have been loving throughout April??
